• Adds the commissioner for higher education as a third cochairperson of the education roundtable, alongside the governor and state superintendent of public instruction.

• Allows a majority of the roundtable's cochairpersons acting together to call meetings, set agendas, arrange witnesses, and carry out administrative functions related to roundtable meetings.

• Adds the commission for higher education to the list of entities that receive recommendations from the education roundtable.

• Effective July 1, 2013.
