HB 1361 Summary

• Amends IC 20-32-5-33 to require the Department of Education to submit an annual report by December 31 to the State Board of Education and Legislative Council.

• Report must include cut scores for statewide assessments administered during the previous school year and how those cut scores correlate to national and international assessment cut scores.

• Report must include statistical analysis comparing student scores on Indiana statewide assessments with student scores on national and international assessments.

• Report to the Legislative Council must be submitted in electronic format as specified in IC 5-14-6.

• Effective date: July 1, 2013.
