HB 1406 Summary

• Requires the Department of Child Services to post information about the office of the department of child services ombudsman on its Internet website.

• Mandates the department print ombudsman office information on all written materials concerning child abuse or neglect distributed or made available to the public by the department or local offices.

• Mandates the department print ombudsman office information on all written materials concerning foster care or residential care and treatment distributed or made available by the department or local offices.

• Amends IC 31-25-2-24 and becomes effective July 1, 2013.
