• Agritourism providers are not liable for injuries caused by a participant to another participant or nonparticipant, or for unlawful actions committed by participants including trespass.

• Agritourism providers offering activities limited to natural resource-based activities and attractions are exempt from posting warning notice signs at the entrance.

• If an agritourism provider elects not to post a warning sign under the natural resource exemption, the provider must require participants to carry written copies of both the agreement and the warning notice during the activity.

• These liability protections are subject to section 11 of IC 34-31-9 and become effective July 1, 2013.
