Congratulates the New Castle Little League team for winning the Great Lakes Region Tournament with a 6-5 comeback victory over Warren County Southern Little League and earning their first trip to the Little League Baseball World Series in August 2012

Recognizes the team for overcoming significant adversity, including the 2011 death of long-time coach Danny Smekens from cancer

Acknowledges pitcher Bryce Pinkard, whose family home was destroyed by fire, and who saved his family by discovering the fire and alerting them to safety

Notes the team defeated their first World Series opponent 4-0 before being eliminated from the tournament in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania

Directs the Principal Clerk to transmit copies of the resolution to all 12 team members, coaches Bret Mann and Junior Hammond, and manager Tim Porter
