Recognizes Kendallville as Noble County's largest city with a population of nearly 10,000 and its role as an industrial center producing vanilla, caramels, water pumps, plastics, machine tools, and other goods

Honors notable Kendallville residents including Arthur Franklin Mapes (Indiana State Poet Laureate, 1977), Representative Laurence D. Baker, and Dr. Harold C. Urey (Nobel Prize for Chemistry, 1934)

Directs the Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives to transmit a copy of the resolution to Mayor Suzanne Handshoe
