Urges the legislative council to establish an interim study committee to examine topics related to polysomnography practice, including credentials for technologists and appropriate facility settings.

Defines "practice of polysomnography" as performing monitoring, recording, and evaluation tasks related to sleep disorders under general supervision of a licensed physician.

Includes specific techniques and procedures within polysomnography scope such as positive airway pressure titration, oxygen therapy, capnography, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and various monitoring methods (pulse oximetry, electrocardiography, respiratory effort, etc.).

Authorizes polysomnographic technologists to observe patient responses, analyze collected data, implement physician orders, and provide patient education on sleep treatment regimens.

Committee shall operate under legislative council direction and issue a final report when directed by the council.
