Indiana House of Representatives recognizes HOPE (Helping Other People Everywhere) and Fountains of Hope International for providing clean water to communities in need

HOPE was established by nine students, three teachers, and four leaders from Metropolitan High School in Indianapolis to install a water purifier system at an orphanage in Port-au-Prince, Haiti

Goodwill Industries provided majority funding through its charter school affiliation, while the Rotary Club of Indianapolis sponsored the purifier system

Fountains of Hope International, founded by Bill Farrar, provides water purification, well drilling, health and hygiene education, and disaster relief to impoverished communities worldwide

Resolution directs the Principal Clerk to transmit copies to the named HOPE project students, teachers, and organizational leaders
