Raises awareness of Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), the most common known genetic cause of life-threatening obesity, which affects 1 in 12,000 to 15,000 births

Notes that approximately 75% of individuals with PWS in the United States remain undiagnosed and unknown to the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (USA)

Calls upon government officials, businesses, communities, health care professionals, educators, and all Indiana residents to advance awareness of and support finding a cure for PWS

Encourages increased research, effective screening, educational efforts in schools and medical institutions, improved therapies for early intervention, and creation of more medical centers and residential facilities

Directs the Principal Clerk to transmit a copy of the resolution to the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (USA)
