Congratulates Taiwan on gaining inclusion in the United States Visa Waiver Program effective November 1, 2012, becoming the 37th country and fifth Asian country with visa-free travel privileges to the U.S.

Supports Taiwan's efforts to secure entry into the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and continued bilateral trade and investment relations with the United States.

Reaffirms support for Taiwan's participation in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and other international organizations to expand Taiwan's international presence and global contribution.

Acknowledges Taiwan's status as the U.S.'s 10th largest trading partner and the 21st largest market for Indiana goods, with Indiana exports valued at $218.2 million in 2011.

Directs transmission of the resolution to the U.S. Secretary of State, ICAO Secretary General, President of Taiwan, and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Chicago.
