Senate Bill 14 Summary

• Allows beer dealers holding permits at grocery stores or drug stores to sell cold beer manufactured by Indiana microbreweries in quantities not exceeding 864 ounces per transaction.

• Permits cold beer sales for carry-out or delivery to customer residences or offices under the new authorization.

• Modifies the existing prohibition on cold beer sales by carving out an exception for Indiana-manufactured microbrewery beer sold through grocery stores and drug stores.

• Effective date is July 1, 2013.
