Senate Bill No. 17 Summary

• Attorney general must represent judges whose courts issue orders for mandate of funds under Indiana Trial Rule 60.5
• State cannot reimburse judges for expenses incurred in employing private attorneys to represent the court in mandate of funds actions
• Amends IC 4-6-2-1.5 to add attorney general representation requirement for judges in mandate litigation
• Amends IC 33-38-12-4 to prohibit state payment of private attorney expenses for mandate of funds actions
• Effective July 1, 2013
