Secretary of state must establish a training program for dealers, transfer dealers, and wholesale dealers of motor vehicles, developed in conjunction with trade associations.

Training program must be offered at multiple locations throughout Indiana at various times during the year upon initial license application.

More than one individual affiliated with each applicant dealer must participate in the training program.

Initial licenses may be issued even if affiliated individuals have not yet completed the training.

Training must include instruction on recordkeeping duties and other obligations pertinent to motor vehicle dealer licenses under Indiana Code Chapter 9-23-2.
