Expands the duties of Indiana's education roundtable to recommend best practices and strategies to the state board of education for improving school services and student support

Requires recommendations to focus on helping students achieve grade-level appropriate academic performance

Directs the roundtable to address strategies for minimizing the need for remedial coursework when students enroll in postsecondary educational institutions

Amends IC 20-19-4-9, adding to the roundtable's existing responsibility of recommending improvements to academic standards under IC 20-31-3
