Eliminates the requirement for document preparers to include a sworn statement affirming under penalty of perjury that they have redacted all Social Security numbers from documents filed with the county recorder

Retains the underlying requirement that all Social Security numbers must be redacted from recorded documents, unless required by law

Maintains the requirement that documents include a statement identifying who prepared the instrument

Effective date of July 1, 2013

Applies to documents recorded or filed under Indiana Code 36-2-7.5 and 36-2-11 concerning county recorder filing procedures
