• Persons who tap into or connect to sewage works after June 30, 2013, waive their right to remonstrate against annexation for 25 years from the date of connection.

• Exempts landowners required to connect to sewage works due to pollution or contamination by others, provided connection costs are paid by someone other than the landowner or municipality.
