Simplifies vision testing requirements from a comprehensive battery of four tests to basic visual acuity screening only for students entering kindergarten or grade 1, transfer students, and those suspected of having visual defects

Requires the state department of health to develop educational materials about body mass index and publish annual summary reports of collected student health data, while prohibiting student-identifiable information on report cards or transcripts
