Renames Indiana's interlocal cooperation law as the "Interlocal and Intergovernmental Cooperation and Efficiency Act"

Authorizes local governments to enter interlocal agreements for any lawful purpose, including implementing recommendations from the December 11, 2007 "Streamlining Local Government" report by the Indiana Commission on Local Government Reform

Permits agreements for sharing or coordinating responsibilities, costs, and resources to more efficiently carry out governmental functions

Reduces the attorney general's review period for interlocal agreements from 60 days to 45 days, after which agreements are automatically considered approved if not disapproved

Effective date: July 1, 2013
