Prohibits employee health benefit plans, insurers, and health maintenance organizations from requiring covered individuals to use mail order or Internet-based pharmacies to obtain 90-day supplies of prescription medications

Bars health plans and their affiliated pharmacy benefit managers from charging higher copayments, coinsurance, or out-of-pocket costs for prescriptions filled at non-mail order pharmacies

Applies to public employers, state educational institutions, insurers, and health maintenance organizations in Indiana

Effective date of July 1, 2013
