Merges the criminal offense of "criminal deviate conduct" (IC 35-42-4-2) into the crime of rape (IC 35-42-4-1), expanding the rape statute to include knowingly or intentionally causing another person to perform or submit to deviate sexual conduct

Repeals the separate criminal deviate conduct statute effective July 1, 2013, with all existing references throughout Indiana Code amended to note the statute as "repealed" or "before its repeal"

Maintains identical felony classifications: Class B felony for the base offense, elevated to Class A felony when committed with deadly force, deadly weapon, resulting in serious bodily injury, or facilitated by drugging the victim

Updates approximately 30 Indiana Code sections across multiple titles including criminal law, sex offender registration, employment restrictions, child welfare, sentencing, and licensing to reflect the consolidation

Preserves all existing consequences tied to criminal deviate conduct convictions, including sex offender registration requirements, employment disqualifications, and sentencing enhancements, by referencing the repealed statute for prior convictions
