Senate Bill No. 476 Summary

• Removes the requirement that students attend a public school for at least two semesters immediately before receiving a choice scholarship.
• Allows students who have attended any school satisfying Indiana's compulsory attendance requirements to be eligible for choice scholarships.
• Maintains other eligibility requirements including Indiana legal settlement, age 5-21, enrollment in an accredited school, and household income at or below 150% of federal free or reduced lunch program threshold.
• Effective July 1, 2013.
