Carroll County FFA livestock judging team won the national championship at the American Royal competition in Kansas City, Missouri, representing Indiana against one team from each state.

Team members are Ricky Burns, Abbie Burns, Kylie Wagoner, and Will Taylor, coached by Rick Burns.

Contestants judged ten classes of livestock with four animals each, including breeding and market animals in beef, sheep/goat, and swine divisions.

Team placed first in sheep and oral reasons, second in hogs, and third in cattle; Ricky Burns placed second overall and Will Taylor placed fifth overall individually.

Secretary of the Senate directed to transmit a copy of the resolution to all team members and coach.
