Indiana Senate honors the Fulton County Historical Society on its 50th anniversary, which began in April 1963

Society incorporated as a non-profit in 1972 and established the Rochester Depot Museum as its first building

In 1976, the society added a Bicentennial log cabin and began the annual Trail of Courage Living History Festival

Society acquired its current museum property in 1988 and developed the Living History Village called Loyal, Indiana through subsequent additions

Secretary of the Senate directed to transmit a copy of the resolution to the Fulton County Historical Society
