Honors Bernice Corley for her service at the Indiana State Senate, where she worked as Minority Counsel for the Indiana Senate Democratic Caucus beginning in March 2008.

Recognizes her legal background, including graduation from Ball State University (B.S., 1996) and Drake University School of Law (J.D., 2000), and admission to the Indiana Bar in 2000.

Acknowledges her prior legal experience representing indigent clients at Indiana Legal Services Organization and Marion County Public Defender Agency, as well as her work as a clerk for the Indiana Court of Appeals and attorney at Locke Reynolds, LLP.

Commends her community service on boards of directors for Southeast Neighborhood Development Corporation, Southeast Neighborhood School of Excellence, and Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit a copy of the resolution to Bernice Corley.
