Allows certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) to administer anesthesia under the direction of a podiatrist, in addition to physicians, effective July 1, 2014.

Requires anesthesia administration by a CRNA for a podiatrist to occur in a hospital setting.

Requires a physician licensed under IC 25-22.5 to be available to respond immediately and in person to any medical emergency during podiatrist-administered anesthesia.

Requires the patient or patient's representative to be notified in writing that a CRNA will administer the anesthesia and must provide written consent.

Clarifies that CRNAs do not need to obtain prescriptive authority to administer anesthesia under these conditions.
