• Requires plumbing license holders to complete at least 2 hours of continuing professional education every two years covering health protection, energy conservation, job safety, code requirements, or water conservation to renew their licenses.

• Establishes the plumbing compliance fund for enforcement purposes, funded by civil penalties imposed by the plumbing commission and 50% of the plumbers recovery fund balance deposited on June 29 of each odd-numbered year.
