• Child support orders and educational support orders may not include amounts for postsecondary educational expenses unless the obligated party has entered into a written agreement to pay those expenses.

• Provisions in child support or educational support orders that include postsecondary educational expenses are void if the obligated party has not agreed to pay those expenses.

• Redefines "educational needs" under Indiana Code to exclude postsecondary educational institution expenses, limiting it to elementary and secondary school education.

• Effective date: July 1, 2014.
