Requires the bureau of motor vehicles to issue a Purple Heart license plate for a person with a disability to Purple Heart recipients with a disability, effective January 1, 2015.

Purple Heart license plate for a person with a disability may be issued to Purple Heart recipients who have a permanent physical disability, including those who require wheelchair, walker, braces, or crutches use, or have permanently lost the use of one or both legs.

Plate must bear the official international wheelchair symbol or a reasonable facsimile to designate the vehicle is used to transport a person with a disability.

Purple Heart license plate for a person with a disability may be used only by the Purple Heart recipient with a disability who registered the vehicle for private and personal purposes.

Knowingly falsely professing to have qualifications for or owning a vehicle bearing the plate while not entitled constitutes a Class C misdemeanor.
