Amends Indiana Code IC 7.1-5-12 to allow bars and taverns where smoking is permitted to allow individuals under 21 years of age to enter nonsmoking areas, subject to specific requirements.

Requires separate, enclosed, designated smoking rooms with ventilation systems independent from nonsmoking areas, common entry areas, and restrooms.

Mandates that nonsmoking room entrances be at least 8 feet from smoking area entrances, with closed doors during all operating hours, and prohibits individuals under 21 from passing through smoking areas to access nonsmoking areas.

Requires walls separating smoking and nonsmoking rooms to extend to the next floor or roof for complete separation, and establishes that shared kitchens must be at least 8 feet from smoking room entrances with no smoking allowed inside.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
