IN HB1207

Adds new section IC 20-32-5-23 to Indiana Code regarding administration of standardized tests, effective July 1, 2014

Prohibits the Indiana Department of Education, school corporations, and schools from requiring students to use a computer to complete any required statewide, national, or international assessment

Allows paper-based test completion if requested by the student's parent, or by the student if the student is at least 18 years old or emancipated

Requires paper-based test completion if paper use is mandated by a student's individualized education program (IEP)
