IN HB1292

Amends Indiana Code Section 21-16-1-8 to expand eligibility for the EARN Indiana program (employment aid readiness network).

Adds a new category of eligible students: those with a hearing disability, visual impairment, or other disability who receive rehabilitative services from the state under IC 12-8-1.5-10 or IC 12-12.

Includes students with disabilities who have requested and are eligible to receive disability support services from a postsecondary educational institution.

Requires eligible students with disabilities to be enrolled as full-time students at an approved institution of higher education in Indiana.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
