Amends IC 20-31-8-4 to require the state board of education to reward schools when calculating performance categories or designations if certain student subgroups demonstrate academic growth.

Identifies four student subgroups whose academic growth triggers school rewards: students with disabilities, students with limited English proficiency, students designated as at-risk children, and students receiving free or reduced price lunch under the national school lunch program.

Effective July 1, 2014.
