IN HB1359

Requires the Lake County convention and visitor bureau to prepare an annual budget by December 20 each year for the following year's expenditures.

Mandates that the bureau submit its budget to the county council for review and approval before any expenditures can be made.

Requires that approved budgets be submitted to the department of local government finance and filed with the county auditor.

Removes the previous language allowing the bureau to expend money from the alternate revenue fund without county council appropriation.

Effective July 1, 2014.
