Luke Bielawski, a 24-year-old law school student from Fishers, founded the Get On The Green Foundation, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to raising awareness and money through golf-related fundraising events for charities.

During summer 2013, Bielawski completed a 2,928-mile golf journey across the United States from Ventura, California to Kiawah Island, South Carolina, with a final score of 52,345 and losing 5,540 golf balls.

Named "From Tee to Shining Tee" and inspired by the movie Forrest Gump, the journey successfully raised more than $60,000 in scholarships for Providence Cristo Rey High School.

The Cristo Rey Network nationally operates 26 schools serving approximately 8,000 students.

The Indiana General Assembly recognizes Bielawski's efforts on behalf of Providence Cristo Rey High School and its students, with the House Principal Clerk to transmit a copy of the resolution to Bielawski and his family.
