Recognizes six individuals (Todd Webster, Tyler Webster, Matthew Wirtz, Ben Groeneweg, Mike Kiester, and Ted Nitza) for traveling to La Vega, Guatemala to provide humanitarian aid to a village of approximately 900 people.

Four City Utilities employees and two others worked to improve the village's water access by drilling a new well to replace a hand-dug well located only 50 feet from a latrine.

Living Water International, a Houston-based religious nonprofit, researched the project and provided the drill rig while the team provided labor, working 12-hour days under intense heat.

Indiana General Assembly thanks the six individuals for their service to those in need and their willingness to live under difficult conditions to help improve the village's living conditions.

Principal Clerk of the House of Representatives directed to transmit a copy of the resolution to the six individuals and their families.
