Chesterton High School debate team won the state championship at the Indiana High School Forensic Association (IHSFA) Championship Tournament, defeating West Lafayette High School

Team achieved 23 state debate championships out of a possible 31 since the state championship began, with a 92-point victory margin ranking as the 2nd highest in IHSFA State Debate Tournament history

Junior Abby Burke won individual state champion in Lincoln-Douglas debate (7th state champion in program history), Matt Eggers and Salman Lakhani were runners-up in Public Forum debate, and Katherine Bolek, Zach Bogich, and Alex Genetski tied for third in policy debate

Mikaela Meyer received the Robert E. Brittain Mental Attitude Scholarship, an annual award given to a senior nominated by their coach and selected by the IHSFA Board of Directors
