Walker Career Center Nanoline Team won the National Championship of the Phoenix Contact Nanoline Competition, competing against five teams including two from Benton Central in Indiana.

Team also received the Excellence Award for Communication-Marketing/Sales and will travel to Germany to participate in the Hannover Fair TectoYou booth.

Team consisted of four juniors and one senior: Brian Wyatt, Emma Griffith, Jaidy Hernandez, Jon Owens, and Portia Jefferson, led by sponsor Jim Hanson.

Team utilized Project Lead the Way pre-engineering courses combining science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to develop their project RoboDose, an automated pill dispensary addressing real-world engineering challenges.

Indiana House of Representatives congratulates the team on their victory and directs the Principal Clerk to transmit copies of the resolution to all team members and sponsor.
