Indiana House of Representatives congratulates Nick Goepper on his accomplishments as a freestyle skier from Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

Goepper began skiing at age 5 at Perfect North Slopes and progressed to professional freeskiing, qualifying for his first Dew Tour and Winter X Games in France during the 2010-2011 season.

Goepper won a silver medal at the 2012 Winter X Games in Aspen and a gold medal at the 2013 Winter X Games slopestyle competition.

Goepper secured a spot on the U.S. Olympic team with a second-place finish at the United States Grand Prix slopestyle skiing contest at Copper Mountain on December 21, 2013.

Goepper won a bronze medal at the Sochi Olympics in the slopestyle contest, with the House directing the Principal Clerk to transmit copies of the resolution to Goepper and his family.
