Prohibits condemnors from using eminent domain to acquire privately-owned real property for constructing trails, pathways, or greenways.

Applies only when the property will be used solely for recreational activities including bicycling, hiking, running, animal riding, walking, or other purely recreational purposes.

Amends IC 32-24-1 to add new section 3.5 defining the restriction on eminent domain authority.

Effective July 1, 2014.
