• Disaggregated staff performance evaluation results reported by school corporations to the department of education are exempt from public record requests under Indiana's public records law.

• Students who fail graduation examinations may receive a graduation waiver if they meet six conditions, including retaking exams annually, completing remediation, maintaining 95% attendance, earning at least a "C" average, and either completing workforce readiness requirements or obtaining written teacher recommendations.

• Special education grant student count date changes from December 1 to October 1 of the preceding state fiscal year for calculating grant amounts.

• State tuition support amount used in choice scholarship calculations is determined under the last step of a revised formula that references the school corporation's legal settlement and current average daily membership.

• Effective date: July 1, 2014.
