Amends IC 24-5-14 to allow callers to use automatic dialing-announcing devices for survey purposes if they are legitimately engaged in information gathering, registered with the attorney general, and comply with specified requirements.

Exempts messages from school districts to students, parents, or employees; messages to subscribers with existing business or personal relationships; and work schedule notifications from the restrictions.

Requires callers to not block caller identification, obtain subscriber consent before surveys begin, and disclose the entity conducting the survey and survey topic at the outset of the call.

Limits callers to one contact attempt per subscriber for survey purposes and prohibits any further contact regarding that survey.

Prohibits automatic dialing-announcing device calls after 8 p.m. local time.

Effective July 1, 2014.
