Adds new section IC 12-15-5-12 to the Indiana Code, effective July 1, 2014, establishing Medicaid reimbursement for specialized or nonstandard wheelchairs for child recipients in nursing facilities.

Defines "child" to include individuals under 18 years of age, individuals 18 or older still enrolled in kindergarten through grade 12 school, and individuals 18 or older with a developmental disability.

Requires the office to reimburse nursing facilities for specialized or nonstandard wheelchairs at a rate outside the facility's per diem payment for nursing facility services, regardless of whether the child is determined to be rehabilitative.

Allows the office to require prior authorization before reimbursement under this section.
