Indiana State Police Alliance was chartered March 19, 1974, to promote and assist member Troopers and the Indiana State Police Department.

The organization consists of 1,800 Troopers, retired Troopers, motor carrier inspectors, and capitol police officers serving the state for 40 years.

The Cops for Kids Foundation, formed in 1991, has donated nearly $1,000,000 to youth programs throughout Indiana and promotes educational relationships between children and Indiana State Troopers.

The Trooper Scott Patrick Flag Fund provides casket flags for retired Indiana State Troopers who die and for police officers nationwide killed in the line of duty.

The Indiana General Assembly congratulates the Indiana State Police Alliance on its 40th anniversary and will transmit copies of this resolution to President Dave Kirkham and Executive Director Wayne Flick.
