Indiana General Assembly congratulates Raven Black on winning the Patricia L. Roy Mental Attitude Award for girls Class 3A basketball.

Raven Black attends Western High School in Russiaville with a 4.471 grade point average in honors and advanced placement classes.

Member of National Honor Society and "W Club" who raised funds for mission trips to New York following Hurricane Sandy and to Joplin, Missouri following the tornadoes.

Named All-Conference twice and earned team rebounding and mental attitude awards twice; participated two years on Western softball team.

Plans to study pre-med at Indiana University; copies of resolution to be sent to Raven Black, her family, Head Coach Chris Keisling, Principal Rick Davis, and Superintendent Randy McCracken.
