Recognizes and honors the Ancilla College Chargers basketball team for their partnership with Ounce of Prevention, a local nonprofit founded in 2003 focused on breast cancer awareness and support in Marshall County, Indiana.

Ounce of Prevention has raised over $200,000 since its formation to provide assistance to individuals of all ages and backgrounds affected by breast cancer.

In 2013 alone, over 300,000 people in the United States were diagnosed with breast cancer, and the partnership helps ease the journey for those diagnosed locally.

Saturday, February 8, 2014 marks the fifth annual "Ancilla Chargers for Change" game dedicated to the organization's work with Ounce of Prevention.

The Secretary of the Senate is directed to transmit copies of the resolution to the Ancilla College Chargers basketball team and Head Coach Aaron Butcher.
