Raymond Waites (junior) and freshmen Bryce Hibbler and Tyler Benberry won the 2013 100 Black Men of America National Financial Literacy Competition, defeating 14 other teams from across the United States

The winning team represented 100 Black Men of Indianapolis, marking the second consecutive year and fourth time in ten years the Indianapolis chapter has won the national title

Competitors created a diversified portfolio and business plan for a fictional scenario, defeating finalist teams from Montgomery, Alabama and Washington, D.C.

The winners participated in the "Dollars & $ense" 16-week program, which teaches students in grades 9-12 basic financial skills and investment portfolio management through work with professors, mentors, and tutors
