The Indiana State Senate congratulates the Fathers and Families Center (FFC) for 20 successful years of serving the community.

The FFC is a nonprofit agency established in 1993 by Wishard Health Services, originally called the Father Resource Program, that assists low-income, current, and expectant fathers who are unemployed or underemployed.

Over 500 new fathers visit the FFC annually, and the organization provides educational and career services including employment counseling, career planning, job placement, retention services, GED preparation, parenting education, anger management, and personal finance classes.

The FFC provides support services encompassing housing, food, clothing, transportation, legal and medical assistance.

The Secretary of the Senate is directed to transmit copies of the resolution to the Fathers and Families Center.
