Congratulates Valerie Anglemyer, a seventh grade Language Arts teacher at NorthWood Middle School in Wakarusa, Indiana, on receiving the Indiana Excellence in Teaching Award.

Recognizes Anglemyer as one of five educators in Indiana to receive the award out of over thirty nominees.

Acknowledges her leadership in incorporating data and technology into student instruction, including creating an online assignment system, developing teacher web pages, and establishing computer lab protocols for daily writing assignments.

Notes that Anglemyer organized state testing data to identify student strengths and weaknesses and helped develop the Language Arts curriculum.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to Valerie Anglemyer and Principal Bart Rice of NorthWood Middle School.
