Urges the Legislative Council to assign the topic of nonparty immunity to the Commission on Courts or another appropriate study committee for further study.

Directs the assigned committee to focus particularly on whether a defendant should be permitted to assert a nonparty defense if an Indiana statute grants the nonparty immunity from liability.

Requires the Commission or committee to issue a final report to the Legislative Council containing findings, recommendations, and any recommended legislation no later than November 1, 2014.

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit a copy of the resolution to the Legislative Council.
