Urges the Legislative Council to assign home health care workers and service providers as a topic for an interim study committee during the 2014 legislative interim.

Study committee shall review the impact on home health care workers regarding working conditions, health and disability benefits, vacation and quality of life benefits, compensation, workplace and professional training, and worker protections under Indiana law.

Study committee membership shall consist of members equally selected from the four caucuses of the General Assembly, with per diem and compensation determined by the Legislative Council.

Study committee shall operate under Legislative Council direction and issue a final report to the General Assembly and Governor no later than December 15, 2014.

Secretary of the Senate directed to transmit copies of the resolution to the Legislative Council.
